The long-awaited Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey is the latest release in Teeling’s Premium range of expressions of their non-aged Irish whiskeys. Made with Irish Whiskeys distilled from 100% malted barley, matured and finished in casks that impart the influence of five wine casks (Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon).

This Irish Single Malt Whiskey delivers a unique fruit-forward flavour profile that is complex, yet balanced and has often been described as “a symphony” of flavour, all thanks to the distillery’s sophisticated maturation/finishing techniques. Teeling Single Malt consists of a range of single malts, varying in age and maturation techniques including 5 types of wine casks, specifically – Port, Sherry, Madeira, White Burgundy, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

With these 5 cask influences working in harmony, this whiskey has been described as a symphony of flavour, varying from vibrant tropical fruit to soft spice. Bottling at 46% with no chill filtration lets this whiskey’s true character and depth ring through. Teeling Single Malt was voted Best Irish Single Malt at the 2017 World Whiskies Awards.
