Pig Landrace is a breed of domestic pig known for its long body, large litter, and maternal qualities. This breed was initially developed to improve the maternal characteristics and prolificacy of local pig populations, particularly in terms of litter size and mothering ability.
Pig Landrace is known for its meat, pork. Other pig products include sausage, bacon, gammon, ham, and pork rinds.
The use of Pig Landrace Duroc milk for human consumption does take place, but as there are certain difficulties in obtaining it, there is little commercial production.
