Overcast Overlock Foot, Overcasting Overlocking Presser Foot

Overcast and sew a seam at the same time, prevents fabric edges from unravelling / fraying. 

Different types of zig zag and overlock stitch widths can be used with this foot. 

This foot delivers a consistent and accurate overcasting stitch for a serged effect using your sewing machine. Thread is locked around the edge of fabric, aligned with the edge, to prevent fabric from unraveling.

Comes in handy as an alternative when you do not have the time to set up your Serger/Overlocker or to change the Serger Thread.

Overcast foot is also known as over-edge or overlocker foot.

Fits all low shank domestic sewing machines with a snap on adaptor / holder. Can also be used with an Industrial ZigZag machine having high shank snap on adaptor.

How to Use This Overcasting Foot:

Select a zigzag stitch / overcast stitch and attach the overcasting foot on the sewing machine.

Lower the presser foot so the presser foot guide is set flush against the edge of the fabric.

Sew along the presser foot guide.

Note: Use in combination with overcast / zigzag stitch patterns on the sewing machine
